Ali and Harriet

What a wonderful day we had celebrating the wedding of Harriet and Ali!

I am so excited to share just a few photographs from Ali and Harriet's day.

The day began at Hue Salon in Bath where Harriet, her mum and the bridesmaids were pampered. We then went back to Harriet's family home. Harriet's mum was being followed by the BBC who were making a documentary about her so it was fun to be a part of all the action!

Harriet looked incredible in a re-design of her own mother's wedding dress. The 80's dress was transformed by the wonderful Alison Miles from 'Alison Miles Couture.' Harriet topped of the stunning gown with some beautiful powder blue shoes.

Ali, a textile magician, wore a stunning velvet suit with a brilliant bow-tie and outrageous blue shoes! He looked truly amazing!

The ceremony was in the statuesque 'Bath Abbey,'  a very special place to the couple, with a wonderful instalment from the Abbey choir. Harriet was a member of the Abbey choir for many years and has a beautiful voice which she showcased at the reception.

Following the ceremony we moved on to 'Prior Park' (where Harriet went to school) for a lovely 'tea dance.' Ali is one of five boys and it was Michael Rouse, his elder brother, who took on best man speech duties! Michael is a talented broadway singer and gifted us all with some beautiful music throughout the afternoon. He also sang a duet with a friend of his, but disguised his singing partner as a chef from the venue!

Thank you so much to Harriet and Ali for allowing me to document your special and wonderfully musical day! Here at Beth France Photography we wish you a long and happy marriage!
